Scientific Advisory Board

The work of the Social Research Center Dortmund is accompanied by an external scientific advisory board. It consists of six academics who are experts in the sfs's field of work. The scientific advisory board advises the sfs on all questions of general research conception and supports it in the performance of its tasks.

The members of the Scientific Advisory Board are appointed by the sfs Executive Board for a term of three years upon recommendation by the Director.

The Advisory Board usually meets once a year at the invitation of the Director. The Director participates in the meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board.
