AWIEW with presentations at EASST-4S 2024
The EASST-4S Conference took place in Amsterdam this year. AWIEW was presented in the panel ‘The performative character of studying digitalisation in organizations’, moderated by Stefanie Raible (Johannes Kepler University Linz) and Martin Schwab (University of Arts Linz).
Together with Diana Cürlis (Münster University of Applied Sciences), Ann Christin Schulz presented to the participants how participatory, inter- and transdisciplinary working methods can establish new (digital) solutions and practices in organisations. As a practical example, approaches from the project ‘Arbeiten - wie ich es will!’ (AWIEW) were presented. The focus here was on the opportunities and challenges of participatory methods and inter- and transdisciplinary teamwork with regard to the development of new solutions and practices in organisations. Experiences from the co-design approach and embedded research were first presented before the complexity of transdisciplinary teamwork, including approaches to solving the challenges that arise, was discussed. In a subsequent discussion, experiences from other inter- and transdisciplinary (research) teams were shared and possible solutions discussed.
