Dr. Christoph Kaletka, Deputy Director of the Social Research Center, was awarded his habilitation on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, following his public habilitation lecture on the topic "How does the new come into the world? On the Special Significance of Co-Creation", the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences habilitated him with the teaching authorization for "Sociology of Innovation and Participation".

Dr. habil. Christoph Kaletka has long been conducting research in national and international collaborative projects on topics of social science innovation research and on issues of digital participation and new learning spaces. In 2003, he completed his doctorate at the Institute for Communication Studies at the University of Münster on the topic of "The Future of Political Internet Forums". From 2002 to 2005, he was a staff member and lecturer there. Since 2003, he has worked as a research assistant at the Social Research Center Dortmund. Here he was coordinator of the research area "Work and Education in Europe" from 2009 to 2012. Since 2012 he has been a member of the management of the Social Research Center and since 2021 deputy director.
