Visiting doctoral student presents research project at sfs
On November 11, Concetta Giusto presented her research project at the Social Research Center (sfs) at TU Dortmund University. Giusto is a visiting doctoral student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Pisa and will be conducting research at the sfs from September 2025 to March 2026.
Her doctoral thesis focuses on social innovation in education. In a talk entitled "Social innovation as a transformation of practices: the PEZ case in Tuscany Region" she presented key issues and initial findings from her ongoing research. The subsequent discussion provided an opportunity for professional exchange and reflection on the further development of the project.
The research stay came about on the basis of previous collaboration between Dr. Karina Maldonado-Mariscal (sfs) and Concetta Giusto.
