Marlon Philipp at the FFT anniversary
As representatives of the DIONA project, Marlon Philipp from the Social Research Centre and Hanna Scheerer from the Chair of Industrial Information Management were invited by FFT, a company specialising in process automation, to give a keynote speech on the sustainable and circular transformation of the German automotive industry to mark the company's 50th anniversary.

The two were happy to accept this invitation to Fulda and spoke about the complexity of the concept of sustainability, the current status of circular economy production strategies in the automotive industry and the future potential of circular economy business models. In particular, the exchange of sometimes differing economic and scientific perspectives on the transformation process during the numerous informal discussions at the conference proved to be extremely beneficial for both sides.
