Invitation to the information event:

Support for student mental health  – an e-training for teaching staff at higher education institutions

On Friday, 5 December 2025

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location: online via Zoom

Information:

Mental health concerns among students at higher education institutions (HEI), particularly depression and anxiety, are on the rise. For many teaching staff members, who play a key role in academic success, this poses a growing challenge. However, there is often a lack of support for everyday HEI life.

Against this background, a flexible training programme for HEI has been developed as part of the Erasmus+ project "Support for University Student Mental Health – Training for Teaching Staff" (SUNMENTORS). The aim is to help teaching staff better support their students in this area. The training programme was developed under the coordination of TU Dortmund University in collaboration with several other European educational institutions. The Moodle course developed is international and can be used free of charge.
